Grey's cult role on Dirty Dancing as Frances Houseman, aka Baby Houseman alongside Patrick Swayze earned her the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. Wind, Bloodhounds of Broadway, Bounce, Red Belt, and other films were released. Grey was the lead role in Peter Mehlman's cult TV show It's Like You've Seen It. Grey has been featured in a number of TV movies, including The Westside Waltz, with Shirley MacLaine and Liza Minnelli as well as HBO's Fallen Angels - A Dime a Dance Cable Ace Nomination for Best Actress; Murder in Mississippi, as Rita Shwerner; and The Road to Christmas. She has a recurring part in David Milch's HBO series John from Cincinnati. In addition she was a guest star alongside Clark Gregg in The New Adventures of Old Christine and Friends.
