Her birth date is 29 March 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Her given name is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico as the daughter of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Stevenson is American and has Mexican-American heritage. From the time she was a kid, she's always had a strong desire to participate in sports. Gerina took up golf in her first game at the age of fifteen. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. As a high-school student she was the winner of at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She also had her volleyball skills recognized at the national scale. The first time she attended in the University of Texas. As a senior she was a winner of every tournament which she participated in. In her undergraduate years she won the titles that included Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
